In the year 1011 of the Hijra, in the days of Emir Fakhr al-Din, may God preserve him and protect him from all evil, who was the son of the great Emir Qorqmaz, the roads were safe and people well out of harm’s way; there was not a trace left of any robbers who used to ensnare the believers in order to hurt them; the country was thriving and all the migrants were coming home; justice reigned everywhere and people rejoiced in his words and charitable deeds. Every exiled returned home where he was born and lived seeing as justice and righteousness reigned on the land: thanks to him, further, tyranny and iniquity disappeared.
