To sum up, Beirut's Arab speaking Jesuits showed prepared not to invalidate out of hand a qualitatively limited transformation. But they called for further convincing evidence before rejecting or approving some of the scientific opinions abroad. The rigour of faith alone is forever constant. Human knowledge could not possibly undermine its basis since it is founded in a truth that nothing can obstruct.
