Song Sa‘adni Ya nab ‘alnaby by the Rahbani brothers

Translation

Help me, the all-powerful, the father of goodness, help me

I am your disciple and I preach your word (by grace of your love and generosity)

The dove and the birds feed on your Grace

By grace of your generosity, the shepherd feeds his flock, the tree touches the skies, by your grace,

The believers are lost in the fog and the unhappy wait at the gate

The believers appeal to the all-powerful

The believers who live in poverty await the all-powerful

The believers await the saviour, whether they are destitute (poor), unhappy (sad), weary (sick)

I am your disciple and my mission by grace of my faith is to spread the love of God

Help me, the all-powerful
