« Placuit in totum prohibere episcopis, presbyteris et diaconibus vel omnibus clericis positis in ministerio abstinere se a coniugibus suis et non generare filios. Quicumque vero fecerit, ad honore clericatus exterminetur.”

Traduction: « It has seemed absolutely good to forbid the bishops, the priests and the deacons i.e. all clerics in the service of the ministry to have intercourse with their wives and procreate children; should anyone do so, let him be excluded from the honour of the clergy.”
