THE NETWORK

Created during the academic year 2009-2010, the thematic network “Euro-Mediterranean History” is a network of academics hailing from universities based in four Countries (Morocco, Switzerland, Lebanon, France).

It forms part of the e-OMED (Espace Numérique ouvert pour la Méditerranée Open Digital Space for the Mediterranean) that structures similar partnerships in other disciplinary fields.

It aims to champion a converging approach to the teaching of history (content, methodology, supports) through the concerted design of a yearly teaching module.

It targets secondary and higher education students and teachers. It makes it possible to mutualise digital resources on a symmetrical basis thanks to a homogenous technology.

Drafted originally in French the modules shall be translated into English and Arabic so as to broaden their outreach.
